1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LitWorks platform, including:

  • The website at litworksafrica.live
  • The website at litworksafrica.institute
  • Any related applications, dashboards, or services (collectively, “the Platform”)

1.2 The Platform is operated by LitWorks Africa (Pty) Ltd (“LitWorks”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in the Republic of South Africa with registration number [Company Reg No] and its registered address at Johannesburg CBD, Gauteng, South Africa.

1.3 By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you (“you”, “your”, or “the User”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1.4 These Terms apply to all users, including:

  • Business Users — businesses, freelancers, and professionals using litworksafrica.live
  • Student Users — students and learners using litworksafrica.institute
  • Visitors — anyone browsing the Platform without an account

2. Eligibility

  • Be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian if you are a minor;
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
  • Not be prohibited by South African law from using the Platform.

2.2 If you are opening an account on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2.3 LitWorks reserves the right to refuse or cancel any account at its sole discretion.

5. Pricing and Payment

LitWorks site

R200 once, for 12 months

  • ▸Your site online for 12 months
  • ▸Hosting & SSL
  • ▸Free subdomain or your own domain
  • ▸Every template
  • ▸Blog, newsletter, bookings & events
  • ▸Analytics
  • ▸AI-assisted setup
  • ▸Email support

5.1 A site costs R200, paid once in advance, and covers 12 months from the date of payment. Payments are made through Paystack (card, EFT or instant payment).

5.2 Payments are once-off. LitWorks does not store your card details and never charges you automatically.

5.3 Before your 12 months end, LitWorks will remind you that your site is due for renewal. Renewing (R200 for a further 12 months) adds the new period to the end of the current one.

5.4 If you do not renew, your site goes offline when the paid period ends. Your account and content are kept, and paying again puts the site back online.

5.5 Prices may change with 30 days’ written notice. A change applies to payments made after it takes effect, never to a period you have already paid for.

5.6 All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.

6. Your Content
